Our work varies greatly – covering all aspects of plumbing and heating work in properties which include residential, country houses, commercial buildings, hotels, schools, churches, etc. As part of the ongoing expansion of the business we need to recruit an experienced Project Manager. Duties & Responsibilities:

Deliver new projects safely, efficiently and profitably. Manage procurement for projects. Manage the site team efficiently. Support and mentor apprentices. Produce risk assessments and method statements. Conduct regular site visits to monitor project progress and address any issues that arise. Financial management of projects, identifying and costing variations as necessary. Liaise with clients, contractors, and internal teams to ensure project requirements are met. Desirable experience and key skills:

2 years' experience in Project Management - ideally delivering mechanical projects. Experience of working on the tools an advantage. Knowledge of, or keen interest in, renewable technologies - heat pumps, solar PV, solar thermal, etc. We are happy to provide training if necessary. Understanding of commercial implications of successful project management. Ability to manage own workload, and organise others. Strong leadership skills. Salary & benefits:

Starting salary package of between £40-50K (negotiable depending on experience). Company car (or car allowance). Participation in performance related bonus scheme. Laptop and mobile phone. Opportunities for further training and development. We are a small and close knit team - providing an enjoyable and supportive working environment. We only operate within the North East region - and most of our work is in and around the Tyne Valley, but you will need to travel to Hexham daily and will be based at our office there.
