Salary:
c. Up to £100,000 + Car Allowance + Travel expenses + Private Healthcare + Progression + Perks Experience Needed:
Previous experience overseeing a variety of different main contracting projects, Proactive & IT Literate Duties: Assess new tenders, checking for completeness and accuracy of information supplied. Good knowledge of the Codes of Procedures for various methods of tendering. Lead and prepare the complete commercial and pricing element of a tender or cost plan. Marking up supplier and subcontractor enquiries to enable competitive quotations to be obtained. Good knowledge of subcontractors and suppliers, and the ability to communicate with them to encourage quotation returns. Manage commercial activities with a high degree of acumen. Identify opportunities to add value throughout the project process. Identify risks and input into project risk register. Lead the supply chain enquiry process. Produce a detailed control document at handover to delivery team. Complete project take-offs. Ability to produce a full set of Preliminaries for the project in question. Prepare whole life costing analysis. To constantly reinforce and deliver our customer-first ethic through successful bid and personal performance. Experience Preferred: Successful delivery of tenders on a wide range of tenders. Have experience of various construction methods. Experience of controlling costs, timing and quality in line with targets. Experience of reading and accurately interpreting drawings and technical specifications. Good standard of mathematical ability.
