Horizon Platforms are looking for a driven individual to help shape the next stage of growth, influencing and driving both top-line and bottom-line growth while providing healthy challenges for the benefit of all stakeholders. As Head of Finance, you will play a central role within the Senior Leadership team supporting and delivering the Company’s strategic priorities. You will strive to create value, ensuring the finance function delivers first class service through robust financial reporting, analysis, planning and forecasting. You will work with colleagues across the business to provide financial insight, facilitating interaction and knowledge transfer where required and providing appropriate scrutiny and challenge. You will provide assurance to the Board over the integrity of all financial information and will oversee all day-to-day operations within the Finance department. We are looking for a qualified finance leader with the following skillset: Experience working within a fast paced, high volume/low value industry experience would be preferable. Experience of successfully engaging and motivating a team. Attention to detail, organisational and problem-solving skills. Strategic thinking and an ability to see the “big picture” and step away from the detail. Process improvement and efficiency experience desirable. Ability to provide appropriate challenge to business decision-making. Working knowledge of audit processes. Good commercial awareness. Would suit individuals with “controllership” experience who are now looking to further their career by expanding their financial responsibility and by making a broader business impact. Why Join?
