About the role As an Apparel Graphic Artworker at Rapha, you will play a vital role in transforming our seasonal apparel collections, graphic packs, and Team Kits into reality. Your main responsibility will be to create and manage detailed technical assets while collaborating closely with the Graphics, Colour Design, and Apparel Design teams. This position is ideal for someone with advanced CAD skills in Adobe Illustrator and InDesign and a strong understanding of how 2D designs translate into 3D garments. You will work alongside the Design Team and engage with the Product Development and Engineering teams to ensure a smooth transition from design concepts to finished products. Effective communication between teams for your assigned projects is key. Key Responsibilities: Create and update product tech packs in accordance with Critical Path deadlines. Manage complex print and sponsor placements for both athlete and commercial collections through precise oversight of AI print layouts. Collaborate on a variety of projects, including Colour CADs, apparel tech pack support, and team kits, providing a diverse experience across Rapha's product lines. Ideal Candidate: 2+ years of experience as an Apparel Graphic Artworker or in a similar role within lifestyle or sportswear brands. Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Illustrator and InDesign, with a focus on CAD tasks. Knowledge of 3D software is a plus but not essential. Strong design background in apparel, with the ability to translate 2D CAD designs into 3D products effectively. Confident in creating CADs, lay plans, and print files using Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop. Skilled in building graphic design apparel artworks, ensuring a deep understanding of the products. Meticulous attention to detail, maintaining technical assets to the highest standard and ensuring brand consistency. Excellent collaboration and communication skills, enabling effective work with diverse teams. Strong time management and organisational skills, with a positive attitude towards tackling various tasks. Ability to work under tight deadlines and adapt to challenges.
