Lab Technician
- 6 months - £12.93-£16.74 PH - Reading This position is ideal for a fresh Science Graduate wanting to take their first step into a lab environment. Working within a research and development lab, the successful candidates will provide hands-on assistance to support the operation and goals of the lab by supporting experiments and projects under technical guidance. You will work with teams and independently with the guidance of more senior team members, maintaining equipment and ensuring they are always operable. You will apply your technical understanding of equipment to support laboratory operations, record and report data and activity outcomes accurately, and maintain a clean, tidy, and safe working environment. Proficiency in generic and specific software packages is also required. Minimum Requirements: Candidates must have a science degree. Looking for their first role within a lab environment. Must be free to start immediately. Must be able to commute to the site within 30 minutes. No home working; 36 hours a week, Monday to Friday (9-5 or 8-4).
