Opportunity for a Chartered Geo-Environmental Engineer to join a leading UK multidisciplinary.

They are seeking to expand their Ground Engineering team with the addition of a Senior (or Principal) Geo-Environmental Engineer in either Motherwell or Manchester. You will be required to prepare and input to various stages of Geo-Environmental and Ground Engineering deliverables, supporting the company's growth on all aspects of projects including public, infrastructure, life sciences, nuclear, aviation, defence, and energy.
Your new role
Input to and prepare technical deliverables within the Geo-Environmental and Ground Engineering team. Undertake technical review and checking on Geo-Environmental deliverables prepared by Graduate and Engineer grade. Represent the company in external project meetings and during site visits as required. Review specialist subcontractor's reports for technical compliance with design intent. Keep up to date with Geo-Environmental design trends / customer awareness / design techniques. Support the development of Geo-Environmental service capabilities across geographic locations. What you'll need to succeed
Experience within a Geo-Environmental / Engineering Consultancy at Engineer / Senior Engineer level. Demonstrable experience preparing technical reports including: Phase 1 Desk Study Reports, Phase 2 Interpretative reporting, Classification of sites, and Remediation Method Statements. Understanding of sampling methods and limitations of investigation techniques. Commercial aptitude via management of project budgets and time allowances for report delivery. Proven ability to work within a fully integrated, multi-discipline design team. What you'll get in return
In return, you will receive a highly-competitive salary between £40,000 - £50,000 + an annual car allowance (option to take as salary) of £6,000.
