Join a multinational FPSO oil and gas company who are recruiting for a Senior HSSE Advisor on a permanent staff basis. The role is based in Aberdeen with requirements for occasional offshore travel (1-3 short trips per year). The company is looking for an all-rounder with varied oil and gas HSSE experience. As the Senior HSSE Advisor, as part of the Operations Asset Team, you will have the following main duties and responsibilities: Developing and maintaining HSSE procedures and forms for the FPSO and in country operational office(s). Approving or rejecting management of change and deviation requests from an HSSE perspective. Participating in HAZIDs, HAZOPs, and facilitating safety studies updates. Ownership and responsibility of the Vessel Safety Case. Collaborating with other disciplines on SECE performance standards review, update, and development. Reviewing incident reports and assisting in identifying direct, indirect, and root causes and actions to enable effective close-outs. Leading or participating in incident investigations. Providing Health, Safety, Security, and Environmental advice and support to FPSO and in country operational offices. Representing the business with Consultants, Authorities, and Clients on HSSE matters when required. Monitoring UK operational compliance to internal and relevant national and international HSSE standards and legislation. Education and Experience: Formal qualifications in health and safety management. Relevant experience may replace formal qualifications. NEBOSH General Certificate is essential. Minimum of 5 years operational safety experience in the offshore oil and gas industry. Previous FPSO experience would be preferred. Working knowledge of UK HSE standards and legislation. Experience in safety case management is preferred; however, expertise is not required due to the role being more operational safety focused. Procedures and documentation development and review. Internal and vendor prequalification auditing. Able to travel to offshore locations. Able to obtain OGUK or equivalent medical clearance and BOSIET Certification. TMM Recruitment INDQHS
