As an English Teacher, your responsibilities typically include:
Curriculum Development:
Develop and deliver a comprehensive and engaging English curriculum that covers essential topics. Effective Classroom Instruction:
Provide clear and effective instruction using innovative teaching methods. Student Assessment:
Assess student progress through various evaluation methods and provide constructive feedback. Mentorship and Guidance:
Foster critical thinking, communication skills, and a love for reading in students. Classroom Management:
Establish and maintain a positive and organized classroom environment. Professional Development:
Stay updated with the latest developments in English education. The successful candidate for English Teacher will have: Qualified Teacher Status:
Ideally PGCE, GTP, BEd, Cert Ed, BA with QTS in English or a related field. Prior Experience:
Teaching English to secondary school students. Strong Knowledge:
Of the national curriculum and assessment methods. Excellent Communication:
And interpersonal skills. Team Collaboration:
