My client, a well-established main contractor specialising in care home construction, is currently looking for an experienced Site Manager to join them on a permanent basis in the South East of England. This role offers a large scope for career progression and personal development. Site Manager Responsibilities:

Lead and oversee all on-site activities, including subcontractor management and resource allocation. Enforce strict adherence to health and safety regulations, conducting regular inspections to uphold safety standards. Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, mitigate risks and implement effective solutions to keep the project on schedule. Foster strong communication channels with project stakeholders, addressing any concerns promptly to ensure client satisfaction. Maintain accurate documentation, including progress reports, site diaries, and safety records. Site Manager Requirements:

Proven track record as a Site Manager, ideally in care homes and retirement villages. Good understanding of the full construction process from pre-planning to completion. Excellent communication skills and strong leadership skills. Up to date with Health and Safety best practice and regulations as well as quality control processes. SMSTS. First Aid at Work.
