Job summary Are you looking for your next challenge? Are you a motivated Dietetic team player? We have a fantastic opportunity for a band 6 role in Nutritional support. We will also consider Band 5 dietitians who have at least 6 months postgraduate experience, and training will be given for competencies to be completed for dietitians to reach this Band 6 role. We would love you to join our team in this nutrition support role to help you expand your knowledge in many areas including Gastroenterology, Surgery, Head and Neck Cancers, Oncology, Critical Care, and Burns. You will be working within established multidisciplinary teams providing expert nutritional advice to patients while supporting and educating the wider team to provide patient-centred care. There will be support in all areas from Advanced Specialist Dietitians to facilitate your learning. Main duties of the job To work as an autonomous Specialist Dietitian and provide a comprehensive and effective dietetic service. To work very closely with the multi-disciplinary teams. To provide assessment, management and education for acute patients requiring specialist dietetic and nutrition intervention. To provide training and advice to health care professionals on the dietary management of their patients. To audit and evaluate the outcome of the service provided. You will be able to demonstrate evidence to support the following list of knowledge and skills attributable to the post and progress. Qualifications Essential BSc (Hons) or Postgraduate Equivalent in Dietetics HCPC Registration Experience Essential Minimum 6 months experience post-graduation.
