My client is a public sector consultancy that is delivering on a large programme of work within the Public Sector. Ideally, they require a Security Cleared Architect (eligible for Security Clearance is fine too). They are looking for someone to add value to their new function. Key Responsibilities: Solution Design and Architecture: Lead the design and architecture of ServiceNow solutions to meet business requirements. Develop and maintain architectural blueprints, standards, and best practices. Ensure solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with business objectives. Technical Leadership and Guidance: Provide technical leadership and mentorship to ServiceNow development teams. Guide the selection and implementation of ServiceNow modules and applications. Oversee code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards. Platform Management and Optimization: Manage the ServiceNow platform, including upgrades, patching, and performance tuning. Monitor system performance and identify areas for optimization. Ensure platform stability and availability. Integration and Automation: Design and implement integrations between ServiceNow and other systems. Develop automated workflows and processes to improve efficiency. Utilize integration tools and technologies, such as REST APIs, SOAP, and web services. Security and Compliance: Ensure ServiceNow solutions comply with security policies and regulations. Implement security best practices and controls. Conduct security assessments and vulnerability testing. Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences. Manage expectations and ensure stakeholder satisfaction. Stay up-to-date with the latest ServiceNow features, releases, and best practices. Participate in training and certification programs. Contribute to the ServiceNow community. Skills and Qualifications: Extensive ServiceNow Experience: Deep understanding of the ServiceNow platform and its various modules (ITSM, ITOM, ITBM, HR, CSM, etc.). Hands-on experience in designing, implementing, and configuring ServiceNow solutions. Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of IT service management (ITSM) principles and processes. Knowledge of software development methodologies (Agile, Waterfall). Experience with integration technologies and protocols. Understanding of security concepts and best practices. Certifications: ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) in relevant modules ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) ServiceNow Certified Master Architect (preferred) Soft Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Additional Considerations: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. Experience in a specific industry or domain (e.g., healthcare, finance).
