As a Registered Nurse in the Continuing Care (Acute) team, you will: Deliver direct patient care for cases ranging from routine to complex. Implement medical care plans and contribute to the development of tailored care strategies for each patient. Serve as a patient advocate, ensuring effective communication between families, patients, and healthcare professionals. Lead or participate in patient care conferences to enhance treatment outcomes. Utilise hospital and community resources efficiently while ensuring the safe and economical use of equipment and supplies. Provide leadership by assigning, teaching, and mentoring other nursing personnel as needed. Assume Team Leader duties, driving collaboration and excellence within the team. Commit to continuous professional development by engaging in training programs, staying current with medical literature, and participating in nursing organisations. What You’ll Need to Succeed: Education: Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Nursing from an accredited institution. Licensure: Current registration with the Bermuda Nursing Council (or eligibility to obtain). Experience: At least two years of experience as a Registered Nurse. Certifications:

Required: CPR and IV Therapy Certification. Preferred: Advanced certifications reflecting experience in acute care.
