As a System Architect, you will be responsible for designing, planning and architecting the enterprise graded business solution by considering business requirements as well as the best way to integrate with various critical systems. PCCW Global is a global company, and you may also need to collaborate with different teams in different regions to define and deliver innovative solutions that meet the strategic needs of our business. Roles and Responsibilities: Collaborate with stakeholders, including business leaders, product managers, and software engineers, to understand the requirements and translate them into an architectural design. Design end-to-end technology architectures, ensuring alignment with business objectives, scalability, and performance requirements. Develop and maintain application and system integration patterns, frameworks, and best practices to enable efficient and scalable technology implementations. Evaluate and select appropriate technology solutions, frameworks, and tools that meet business and technical requirements, ensuring compatibility and alignment with the company's technology landscape. Able to craft the architectural roadmap, plans and engineering standards. Able to simplify and present complicated technologies to business users. Act as a technical expert to collaborate with various teams and external vendors on activities ranging from cloud solution design through deployment, give direction, and conduct evaluations. Resolve problems from the development teams and provide direction for development. Evaluate the existing technology and architecture, providing suggestions for improvement. Participate in ISO 27001 activities and ensure the architecture design is aligned with the Information security policies. Collaborate with the Information security team to determine security and compliance. Communicate architectural decisions, trade-offs, and solution designs effectively with stakeholders at all levels. Maintain network/architecture diagrams and inventory for resources to provide visibility on the whole infrastructure. Requirements: Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or IT-related disciplines. At least 10 years of working experience in IT development, with at least 5 years in Architect roles. Extensive experience in designing Application Infrastructure and Data architectures for both on-premise and Cloud Solutions. Experience in designing and implementing an enterprise graded system in cloud (e.g., GCP, AWS, etc.) or hybrid environments. Experience in providing total solutions using different technologies in Cloud, i.e., Provisioning, Automation, Monitoring, Security, Resilience, Backup and Recovery, etc. Knowledge and experience in designing API architecture, Cloud and Hybrid Cloud Infrastructure, security, strategy, pattern, event-driven architecture, integration pattern, and container-based architecture. In-depth knowledge in: Java, Spring Boot, PHP Web technologies like ReactJS, Angular, Vue Docker, Kubernetes RESTful API, MQ, PubSub Relational Database such as MySQL Git, CI/CD pipeline, Linux OAuth2, SAML2, JWT, OpenID Connect Certified Architect in one of the Cloud Platforms (e.g., GCP, AWS, etc.) would be an advantage. Experience in Agile/Scrum development methodology is a plus. Strong analytical, problem-solving, interpersonal, and presentation skills. Self-motivated and a good team player. Good command of written and spoken English.
