Location: Dartmouth, NS Salary: $50,000 to $80,000 annually (To be negotiated) / 40 hours per week Terms of employment: Permanent employment, Full time Day Starts as soon as possible Overview
Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely. Responsibilities
Tasks
Prepare estimates of labour and/or material costs Prepare pre-qualification submissions to present to clients Read blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine work requirements Operate CADD and other computer software systems Prepare estimates for general expenses and overheads Create and submit estimate reports, quote sheets, and bid forms Utilize quantity take-off procedures Analyze tenders and recommend awards Set up cost monitoring and reporting systems Prepare and maintain a directory of supplies and trade contractors Liaise, consult, and communicate with engineers, architects, owners, contractors, and subcontractors on changes and adjustments to cost estimates Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications Experience and specialization
Computer and technology knowledge
Spreadsheet AutoCAD MS Project MS Excel MS Word Type of experience
