About The Role We are looking for a skilled and proactive Electrical Test Engineer to join our Engineering Department. The role focuses on planned preventative maintenance, supporting our Tewkesbury Production site and Distribution Depot, and providing reactive maintenance as required. With a strong electrical bias, this position demands effective problem-solving and fault-finding skills, alongside the ability to take initiative in a dynamic environment. Summary Days worked: Monday - Friday Hours: Minimum of 37.5 hours, five shifts per week Shift Times: 1345 - 2145 Key Responsibilities Carry out planned preventative maintenance across the Tewkesbury site. Adhere to and adapt maintenance schedules, liaising with the Engineering Manager. Ensure compliance with regulations, inspection protocols, and testing thresholds. Conduct periodic lubrication, equipment inspections, and annual electrical testing. Respond to breakdowns and perform reactive maintenance. Repair and test electrical and mechanical plant equipment. Fault-find and resolve technical issues. Important Note:

This is a physically active role and requires manual handling. Required Qualifications and Skills Award in Periodic Inspection, Testing and Certification of Electrical Installation (C&G 2391-51). 18th Edition Regulations (Amendment 2), Onsite Guide (Amendment 2), and Guidance Notes 3 Inspection and Testing. Level 3 Award in Initial Verification and Certification of Electrical Installations. Experience with high-speed automated machinery, ideally within FMCG industries. Strong fault-finding skills, self-motivated, and adaptable to changing priorities. Desirable: Experience in the dairy or food production industry.
