Regional Director of SEMH Services

to oversee a portfolio of schools, residential schools, and care homes within a designated region. This role is pivotal in ensuring high standards of care, education, and operational excellence for children, young people, and adults with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. You will lead on delivering outstanding outcomes for individuals, ensuring that services meet their unique challenges and aspirations while driving sustainable growth and continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities : Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement strategies to deliver high-quality services tailored to SEMH needs, ensuring measurable outcomes and sustainable growth. Operational Excellence: Lead services to exceed performance targets outlined in development plans and group-wide objectives. SEMH Expertise: Foster environments that support the complex and varied needs of individuals with SEMH, developing strategies to manage challenging behaviours and promote wellbeing. Quality Improvement: Oversee initiatives to enhance care and education quality, ensuring services are inclusive, nurturing, and effective. Team Development: Inspire and develop staff across multiple sites, fostering collaboration and professional growth to create stable, supported teams. Change Management: Drive innovation and implement effective change initiatives that respond to evolving needs. Budget Management: Manage budgets effectively to achieve financial goals without compromising on the quality of care and education. Compliance and Standards: Ensure all services align with regulatory requirements and best practices in safeguarding and wellbeing. Qualifications and Experience : Proven experience in a senior, strategic leadership role, ideally within the SEMH, education, or care sector. Background as an Executive Headteacher, Principal, or equivalent senior role, with expertise in SEMH settings. Extensive experience in managing multi-site or regional operations. Strong understanding of regulated environments, with a focus on delivering tailored outcomes for individuals with SEMH needs. Demonstrated success in business growth, performance management, and staff development. Commercial acumen with a track record of achieving financial and operational targets. Why Join Us?
