Job Description Credit Controller: Managing the debts of creditors, ensuring timely payments are made, processing incoming funds, and reconciling invoices. Reviewing the company credit control system and developing and implementing enhancements where required. Meeting with debtors to resolve outstanding payments. Ensuring credit and collection policies and procedures are followed within your team. Liaising with customers, as well as internal personnel including the sales team. Resolving complex billing and customer credit issues. Updating account status records and collection efforts. Reporting to management on outstanding issues and informing them about potential debtor problems. The Successful Applicant A successful Credit Controller should have: A degree in finance, accounting, or a related field. Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods. Proficiency in MS Office, databases and accounting software. An analytical mind with attention to detail. Strong communication and negotiation skills. A sense of reliability and responsibility.
