This company is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Risk & Compliance Manager to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a legal background and experience as a nominated officer with HMRC. This is a part-time or full-time remote position, with a preference for candidates local to Scotland. Responsibilities Develop and maintain the company's risk management and compliance policies and procedures Ensure the company is compliant with all relevant regulations and laws Monitor and report on compliance issues and risks Provide advice and guidance on compliance matters to senior management and staff Develop and deliver training on compliance and risk management to staff Conduct internal audits to identify potential areas of risk and non-compliance Manage relationships with external regulators and auditors Requirements Proven experience as a Risk & Compliance Manager or similar role Legal background and experience as a nominated officer with HMRC Excellent knowledge of compliance regulations and laws Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure Opportunity to work with a dynamic and growing company.
