Callerton Academy is a new secondary school that opened in September 2021 as one of two new schools within the Gosforth Group. Our principal aim is to encourage high expectations and high standards of achievement, both academic and personal. For this Teacher of English position, we are looking for someone who loves English. We are developing a strong team of practitioners at Callerton Academy who can be versatile and are keen to be involved in many aspects of school life, particularly during the coming years while the school is growing. You will be an important part of our growing school and will be a consummate professional, practical, and ‘hands-on’. Inspected in January 2024, the school was awarded a ‘Good’ rating by Ofsted, citing that our students are well behaved and that our curriculum is highly ambitious and inclusive.
