About the company: Our client is a privately owned 4PL logistics business located in Logix Park, Hinckley LE10. They specialise in providing and managing transport solutions to a wide range of customers in the manufacturing, retail and logistics sectors. The loads can vary depending on the customer's needs, from single pallets all the way to nationwide distribution.

Job Description: We are currently looking to recruit an experienced and motivated sales coordinator to join our Clients operations team within a busy subcontract haulage operation. In this role, you will be responsible for working closely with existing customers and converting leads to bring new business in while providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities: Resource/allocate loads daily to achieve the best possible margin. Ensure deliveries are scheduled on time and in line with customer expectations. Monitor delivery performance and notify Customers with any delays. Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing customers, by providing excellent customer service. Proactively look for other opportunities to bring new work into the business through various sourcing methods, including trading platforms, social media, and networking. Stay up to date with Haulage trends and market conditions.

Desired Skills/Experience: Sales experience (negotiating rates, converting leads). Transport industry experience (knowledge of driver's hours, vehicle and working time directive). Motivated and pro-active attitude. Driven by results. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong organisational and time management abilities. Team player.

Must have Requirements: Be fully PC literate with knowledge of Microsoft office and ability to quickly learn other transport management systems. Ability to meet set targets. Can perform under pressure. Good geographical Knowledge of the UK. Excellent telephone skills. Education attainment GCSE or above. Right to work in the UK. Own transport.
