Senior Mechanical Fitter £16.00 - £17.50 per hour Worcester, Worcestershire Full-time, Permanent Monday to Friday (No weekends) Are you a skilled Mechanical Fitter looking for a role where your expertise can shine? This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a company that values quality, efficiency, and continuous improvement. Senior Mechanical Fitter Objectives:

Assemble and fit a variety of mechanical parts, products, and assemblies designed for engine/drivetrain test cells. Perform quality checks and ensure high standards are maintained. Provide guidance and support to apprentices and less experienced team members. Key Responsibilities:

Read and interpret technical drawings and Bills of Materials for assembly. Perform mechanical fitting for designs created by the Mechanical Design Team. Identify and resolve issues within the department and contribute to team problem-solving. Conduct quality checks on the work of other team members and influence departmental build standards. Highlight stock level concerns to maintain consumable availability. Complete and maintain accurate job-related paperwork. Maintain a clean, organized workshop environment. Suggest and implement improvements to designs and work practices to enhance efficiency. Senior Mechanical Fitter Characteristics & Skills:

Extensive mechanical fitting experience (fabrication experience is a plus). Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Methodical and able to work independently or as part of a team. Approachable, helpful, and willing to train others. Eager to learn, improve, and share knowledge. Excellent communication skills. Engineering mindset. What We Offer:

2+ years of experience in mechanical fitting and/or fabrication (preferred).
