An exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled and experienced Cloud Engineer / Systems Engineer to join an established manufacturing & distribution company within the scientific sector. The successful Cloud Engineer / Systems Engineer will collaborate with the wider IT department, including Networks, OC & systems, in order to support global cloud services. The Company The Cloud Engineer will join a global organisation within the scientific manufacturing industry who are dominating their field. They are experts in the design and manufacture of innovative products used in the application of manufacturing and research activities! They are the gold standard in their field worldwide and have 15 facilities across the world in 10 countries – yet still manage to adopt a family feel! The Cloud Engineer / Systems Engineer will have the opportunity to work on a hybrid basis, coming into the office 3 days per week after the successful completion of a probationary & training period. Income protection Discretionary bonus What’s required To be successful within this position, the Cloud Engineer / Systems Engineer will have the following skills: Proven commercial experience within a similar Enterprise-level Systems Admin / Engineering role, including prior commercial experience designing, deploying and managing enterprise-level cloud solutions Hands-on experience using M365 as well as configuring Cloud IS Sound experience of virtualisation & datacentres The list above is important, but not as important as hiring the right person!
