Growing financial services firm based in the City of London Growing Internal Audit team with opportunities for growth and progression About Our Client Our client is a large organisation within the financial services industry. With a longstanding reputation in the market, they are renowned for their innovative approach to business and strong commitment to their employees. Job Description Manage and execute IT audit projects. Ensure all IT systems and processes are in compliance with regulatory requirements. Assess risks and internal controls by identifying areas of non-compliance. Prepare and present audit findings to senior management. Provide recommendations for improving IT systems and processes. Supervise and mentor junior audit staff. Keep updated with IT trends and regulations in the financial services industry. Work closely with other departments to ensure the company's IT systems are secure and efficient. The Successful Applicant A successful IT Audit Manager should have: Around 3 to 5 years of work experience in an IT audit role at an accounting / consulting or other relevant firm. Strong understanding of industry cybersecurity standards such as National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) Cybersecurity Framework, ISO 27001, CIS, etc. Strong understanding of the underlying IT risks, application controls, assessment practices and various IT security software, operating systems, databases, telecommunication and networking technologies. Team-oriented with a strong sense of ownership and individual accountability. Highly motivated with the ability to multi-task and remain organized. Demonstrate agility and the ability to drive and adapt to changes in a fast-changing environment. · Experience in leveraging data and technology.
