Key Responsibilities:
Checking shipping documents (Invoice and Packing List), ensuring all information matches with physical cargo, and that it is in good order for shipping. Organising collections, bookings, AWB cutting, and customs declarations, as well as other related tasks. Submitting to overseas agents and confirming okay for shipping, as well as booking space with the airline. Following up on cargo arrival at the airport and clearance process. Pre-alerting to abroad agent/importer, DAE and DAPE payment, and AWB issuance. Following up on shipping with the airline, as well as arrival at destination and internal procedures. Following up on cargo pickup and/or arrival at the airport and clearance process, as well as Siscomex MANTRA details. Providing daily updates to the customer (exporter) on whichever phase it is. Sending requests for billing to the Accounting Department. Following up on billing and final payment process and preparing file for closing. Skills, Knowledge, and Expertise:
Relevant experience in the Freight Forwarding Industry and good knowledge of Inco Terms and Operations. These qualities characterize you: analytical, results driven, assertive. Excellent communication skills in English (Cross-Functional and Cross-Cultural). Knowledge of dangerous goods transportation and ADR accreditation is a plus.
