You will be responsible for delivering the on-board software for the next generation of defence Systems. What they're looking for from you: A software verification engineer focussed on embedded software development for Real Time systems: Experience of validation and verification of embedded software written in C. Experience of working with a formal requirements capture tool (e.g. DOORS) and performing analysis and reviewing test results. Knowledge of Source Configuration Control Processes. Ability to debug complex problems and to produce required documentation to the required safety level. Authoring of test specifications, test planning, high quality results documentation and reports. Working knowledge of 'C' for testing special builds and focussed code reviews. Unit testing using LDRA or CPP Unit or an equivalent testing tool. Understanding of code coverage and techniques/strategies used to cover/justify shortfall. Experience of test automation and CI/CD is desirable. Experience of working in a lab environment with live equipment (PSUs, Scopes, Logic Analysers etc.) conducting system tests. Previous DO178C knowledge would also be desirable, but not essential.
