Locality Manager – 8-Bedded Residential Service Are you a passionate and experienced leader in adult social care? Midway Care Group is looking for a dedicated Locality Manager to oversee our 8-bedded residential service in Tamworth. About the role: As a Locality Manager, you will: Lead and inspire a team to deliver exceptional care tailored to individual needs. Ensure the service meets and exceeds CQC standards and other regulatory requirements. Manage budgets effectively while ensuring quality service delivery. Oversee recruitment, training, and development of staff to foster a skilled and motivated team. Build positive relationships with service users, their families, and external stakeholders. Take responsibility as the Registered Manager for the service. Key Responsibilities: Deliver personalised care plans and ensure safeguarding protocols are followed. Drive continuous improvement and address any service shortfalls promptly. Manage service occupancy levels, respond to referrals, and complete assessments. Uphold compliance with the Health and Social Care Act, Mental Capacity Act, and other legislation. Participate in on-call duties as required. What We’re Looking For: A Level 5 Diploma in Leadership in Health & Social Care (or equivalent). Proven experience as a Registered Manager in adult social care. Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills. In-depth knowledge of CQC standards, safeguarding, and relevant legislation. A proactive and compassionate approach with a commitment to high-quality care. A valid driver’s license and the ability to travel between services.
