The Role
As the leader of a high-performing team, the successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the Fundraising and Communications activity, ensuring all team members are working towards common goals and objectives. This is a varied and demanding role, ranging from representing the charity at fundraising events and networking opportunities, to hosting supporters at our offices and chairing internal meetings. They will need to be as happy standing in front of an audience as they are sitting behind a desk, as comfortable talking to high-net-worth individuals as briefing volunteers.

Over 5 years of line-management experience and ability to support, motivate and effectively manage team members.
First-hand knowledge of organising fundraising events and campaigns and of strategic planning of communications activities.
Confidence in forming productive and empathetic relationships with colleagues, supporters and stakeholders.
Ability to work independently and as a flexible team leader and member, responding to unexpected situations with pragmatism and clarity.
Successful management of “mission-critical” projects with multiple stakeholders.
A passion for gaming, sports and technology would also be a big plus!
