Sales & Marketing Director

based at Scottish Gas Murrayfield Stadium. This role combines the dynamic elements of sales leadership and marketing strategy, ensuring the growth and visibility of our clients' offerings within a competitive marketplace. As the Sales & Marketing Director, you will develop innovative marketing strategies and drive sales initiatives to enhance our brand presence and meet ambitious income targets. This role requires a proactive, collaborative individual who excels at building relationships, both internally and externally. Responsibilities

Business Leadership and Measurement

Proactively manages the annual site sales budget and business plan, and meets and achieves challenging sales targets that meet and exceed industry standards. Ensures offers and initiatives are implemented delivering growth, profitability & continuous improvement, through all channels and sales avenues. Participates in, and actively contributes to, The Murrayfield Experience annual business plan, budget and activities. Co-ordinates site sales activities as listed (but not limited to) below: Annually - produces and implements a strategic sales & marketing plan for both C&B and hospitality business. Annually / Periodically - produces and implements a tactical hospitality sales plan for each major event / event series such as 6 Nations, Autumn Internationals, Edinburgh Rugby & Concerts. Quarterly - produces a rolling marketing communications plan that is agreed with the client's Marketing Department. Quarterly - produces a sales and marketing strategy update. Monthly - produces a month-end report by the 10 th

of the month, proceeding close of business. Weekly - produces an accurate 12-month sales forecast on a weekly basis, to monitor business on the books and, where necessary, implements an action plan to ensure the budget is delivered. Weekly - produces accurate weekly summaries for Accounts. Grows, manages and sustains all key accounts. Grows, manages and sustains all resellers and agents with account plans for each. Manages and oversees the evolution and development of our website. Implements the company's sales standards and procedures and actively monitors to ensure all set criteria are met, as per the Service Level Agreement (SLA). Evolves and develops said SLA. Liaises and works closely with the client's marketing department to ensure all branded marketing is approved prior to print. Communicates transparently and openly with the client to provide clear and compelling commercial proposals that contribute profitably to the business, seeking and gaining client approval wherever necessary in order to drive profitable revenue growth. Displays solid knowledge of the sales industry and produces and shares industry intelligence as required to influence and develop the strategic direction of the Murrayfield Experience offer. Thinks creatively and generates new ideas, in order to grow the business and enhance revenue and profitability for the unit in future years.
