As a Senior Project Manager, you will be developing one or more of our exciting projects such as the Active Travel Projects or the City Access Programme. The post holder will be required to oversee and manage multimillion pound budgets for transport projects, which will have long-lasting benefits for people who live, visit and work in Greater Cambridge. You will be working with a team of experienced project managers from varying backgrounds coming together to deliver key infrastructure projects for the Greater Cambridge area. An exciting environment where you will be encouraged to work independently and develop your skills and experience. About you We need someone who is firmly focused on delivery to time and budget and who is prepared to tackle the challenges that come with the unique location and context of Greater Cambridge. Navigating a complex governance environment, you will be politically astute, with the ability to build consensus and credibility with civic, academic and business stakeholders, to deliver high levels of impact at a local, sub-regional and national level. Experience in construction will be very beneficial for this role. You will require an excellent understanding and experience of infrastructure delivery within a local authority or central Government context.
