Our portfolio ranges from bespoke animations for cutting-edge medical research to innovative engineering solutions. We are currently seeking a talented 2D animator with strong art and design skills to join our team. This role involves creating animations from concept to completion, including script interpretation, character design, style frames, and final production. All assets are developed in-house, and the role will require direct interaction with clients, collaboration with team members, and creative problem-solving to meet project briefs. 28 days holiday per year (April to April) + additional time off during xmas closure. On site working but flexibility for hybrid where necessary. Core Responsibilities: Visual Storytelling : Develop compelling visual narratives through scripts, storyboards, style frames, and animations that align with project goals. Independent working : Take ownership of projects from start to finish, showing initiative and providing creative solutions. Collaborate effectively within a small team environment. Creative thinking with a critical mindset : A passionate creative who brings ambitious ideas to the table, while engaging with a critical mindset to craft compelling visual stories. Animation Production : Create high-quality 2D animations using Adobe After Effects, Illustrator & Photoshop, with a strong foundation in graphic and art design principles. Business Responsibilities: Collaboration : Work closely with the creative team to ensure smooth integration of motion graphics into video projects. Feedback Integration : Gather and apply feedback from clients and team members to continuously refine and improve animations. Brand Consistency : Ensure all animations align with brand guidelines and maintain visual cohesion across projects. Asset Management : Efficiently organise and manage assets, project files, and animation archives. Quality Assurance : Conduct thorough reviews to ensure visual and technical excellence in all deliverables. Minimum Requirements: Experience in cel animation or 3D animation.
