We are currently looking for a Sanctions Analyst / Consultant to join our team in Belfast. While the scope of each project may be different, your duties & responsibilities may include: Managing multiple queues of account screening and real-time transaction screening alerts; exercise judgment and sanctions knowledge by reviewing internal data against reference data and recommending a disposition Conducting open-source research and client outreach for alerts requiring additional information Advising management by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends Maintaining accurate tracking of assignments to ensure appropriate deadlines are met Identifying opportunities to streamline or improve current processes Performing supplementary sanctions due diligence and research for complex escalations Qualifications
A 2.1 degree in a Finance, Legal or STEM subject Experience of working on investment banking projects, either directly for an investment bank, or working for a 3rd party providing consulting/outsourced services to an investment bank The ideal candidate will have sanctions experience background at a financial services firm, exchange, regulatory organization OFAC experience is desirable Confident communicating with management/stakeholders, producing reports and helping manage project lifecycles with relevant industry tooling Strong MS Office skills (PowerPoint, Excel, Word) Strong interpersonal skills, with good relationship building and engagement skills Benefits
