Quality Assistant | £30,420 per annum Purpose As a Quality Assistant Operative, you will play a key role in ensuring the highest standards of quality control within a food manufacturing environment. You'll benefit from: Free on-site parking Opportunities for skill development and career advancement Company pension scheme Hours: 6:00 - 15:30, Monday to Friday Responsibilities: As a Quality Assistant, your duties will include: Supporting the quality assurance team in ensuring all products meet the required standards and specifications. Carrying out routine inspections and testing of products at various stages of the production process. Maintaining accurate records of inspections, tests, and corrective actions. Assisting with troubleshooting quality issues and implementing solutions. Monitoring and auditing production processes to ensure compliance with company and industry standards. Reporting on quality performance and providing feedback to the production team. Comfortable to work in a cold environment. Background: The ideal Quality Assistant will have: A keen eye for detail and an understanding of quality standards in manufacturing. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team. Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines. Previous experience in a quality assurance or manufacturing environment is advantageous but not essential. A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement. Interested?
