The primary role of the Well Integrity Engineer is to ensure the continued integrity of surface and subsea wells by implementation of the THREE60 Well Integrity Management System (WIMS). This is achieved by the monitoring and analysis of well data, performing well integrity inspection, maintenance and repairs and reacting to well anomalies. Key Responsibilities
Work in accordance with the THREE60 Integrated Management Systems (IMS) Implementing the THREE60 Well Integrity Management System (WIMS) Ensure compliance with UK statutory regulations and THREE60 health, safety, and environmental policies Interaction with the well examiner in accordance with the Well Examination Scheme Annulus monitoring for well integrity anomalies Uploading well data and well integrity test data to the well integrity data management system Revising MAASP values when required and informing the production management team of MAASP updates Co-ordinating testing activities in agreement with the offshore teams and subcontractors Preparing and issuing the specific well integrity testing procedures Supervising well integrity activities on surface and subsea wells Analysing integrity test results and ensuring all lessons learned are accurately recorded Applying management of change procedures for well integrity changes Developing suitable action plans to rectify anomalies Participating in multi-discipline risk assessments for anomalies as required Preparing Dispensations and Operational Risk Assessments for degraded well SECE’s Development of regulatory submissions, interface with online portals and liaison with clients, third parties and regulators on submissions. Assisting with procurement and subcontracting processes for THREE60 services Promote environmental and safety performance Management of subcontracted services Monitoring/reporting on operational time and cost performance Assisting the Well Integrity Team Lead with project management. Form part of the Emergency Response team as required by the company emergency response procedures Competence Requirements
Knowledge & Qualifications Formal qualification at minimum degree level in Engineering or Science is essential Valid IWCF Level 4 certificate Knowledge of regulatory requirements and environmental considerations related to UK well operations Valid certification to allow travel to offshore locations is desirable Skills & Experience Minimum of 5 years oil and gas experience with surface and subsea wells Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities Demonstrated communication skills, technical maturity and flexibility to adjust to change.
