On-site Proactive are currently recruiting for multiple skilled Junior Mechanical Design Engineers in Milton Keynes to start immediately. This is an exciting opportunity working for a market leader in the design, supply and manufacture of high quality Pneumatic Products. The Role:
The successful candidate will join a growing team of engineers and designers working with a range of actuators, to provide special product design proposals to satisfy the customer's technical and commercial needs whilst ensuring conformance to safety, quality and relevant National and International standards. The individual will work closely with all Manufacturing functions to ensure designs align with corporate best practice and are engineered for efficient manufacture at the manufacturing facilities in the UK and Europe. The candidate will also support our European subsidiaries with technical inquiries, troubleshooting product failures, market research and product testing. To be successful in this role, you must have:
Mechanical/Mechatronics Engineering degree or Mechanical Engineering qualification (minimum HND level) Electrical knowledge (Basic principles) 3-D modelling experience, preferably SolidWorks To be able to manage a dynamic workload and have a flexible approach to the role Work well as an individual or within a group Strong written and verbal communication skills Manage multiple projects under supervision of a senior designer or engineer Understanding of electro-pneumatic control including circuit diagrams Desirable, but not essential skills:
Design experience of Jigs, fixtures, tooling, mechatronics or special purpose machines ***If you feel that you meet most of the criteria, but not all, we would still ask that you apply. How to Apply:
