Role Introduction

As a Senior Project Manager you will provide strategic leadership, delivering strategic projects, project development and engagement with key stakeholders. This is a leadership position and has full accountability for the successful outcome of strategic initiatives. A proven ability to strategize and implement high-level program initiatives is critical for the success of this role. As a natural leader, this person should have strong talent for project coordination and delegation. What You Will Do

Work closely with Project sponsor, cross-functional teams, and other key stakeholders to define the scope, deliverables, required resources, work plan, budget, and timing for new initiatives Manage project teams for optimal return on investment, and coordinate and delegate cross-project initiatives Identify key requirements for cross-functional teams and external vendors as required Be accountable for delivering against established business goals/objectives Work with other programme managers to identify risks and opportunities across multiple projects within the department Analyse, evaluate, and track programme risks, providing a clear mitigation strategy Ensure that scope is monitored and controlled on projects and that any deviation is proactively addressed through re-planning and change control, where necessary, to safeguard programme baselines. What You Will Have

Must have experience of leading significant strategic change projects with a focus on internal stakeholder management, reporting and team management. Exceptional skills in leadership, time management, facilitation, and organisation Expert knowledge of change management principles and performance evaluation processes Experience of managing complex IT software projects using established project/program management disciplines and methodologies. Recognized project management certification such as PRINCE2, PMP, MSP, etc. is preferable. Experience of managing programmes and delivering results in a globally distributed matrix organization Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal and comfortable communicating with a range of stakeholders, from team to board level.
