Our IT professionals play a vital role as strategic partners, capable of enacting value-adding change through standardisation, differentiation, and innovation. WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL? Supporting new business requirements with the installation and testing of new applications and undertaking project work as required. Maintaining existing applications while assisting in the development of reporting tools used by the site to analyse performance and highlight improvement opportunities. Assisting on new projects such as liaising with suppliers and central procurement teams, coordinating hardware procurement, testing, and repair as required. Acting as the first point of contact for IT queries, dealing with IT-related problems and queries referred by other business teams and external customers working with multiple IT support desks. Successful delivery for IT solutions will include the coordination of central IT functions and communication with site operational colleagues, including local change management and incident coordination. Playing an active part in IT project delivery for the site, acting as a site IT SME (subject matter expert) providing end-user service to enable the effective use of IT. WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU? Experience of working in a similar IT Analyst role with experience of business systems support in an operational environment, IT project delivery support, or IT service management team. Systems implementation experience and the ability to work with and manage stakeholders. Technical or Application Knowledge (desirable). Experience working with and achieving Service Level agreements. Experience preferably in the logistics industry with IT automation solutions is desirable. Experience gained in, or knowledge of the supply chain/logistics industry is desirable. WHY CHOOSE US?
