We provide core radiological safety assessment services supported by in-house specialist capabilities. Due to the nature of the work, all selected candidates will be required to undergo security clearance. The Role: As a Senior Nuclear Safety Assessor, you will be responsible for the delivery of nuclear safety projects and tasks, ensuring they are on budget and meeting client satisfaction while taking the technical lead in the preparation of nuclear safety cases and supporting documentation. Key responsibilities include: Leading hazard identification workshops, e.g. HAZOP. Using Claims/Arguments/Evidence techniques to articulate safety case arguments. Liaising with engineering, plant operators, and other specialist safety disciplines to present coherent safety cases. Maintaining and developing lasting relationships with clients. Managing teams of consultants to support project delivery. Providing technical guidance and mentoring for junior team members. Recognising opportunities for business and service development. Supporting business and service development. Your skills and experience: Skilled and experienced nuclear safety consultant with excellent report writing skills. Expertise in nuclear safety techniques. Experience in Safety Case production and management for all stages of plant lifecycle. Knowledge of relevant UK regulations and standards. A degree or equivalent in a relevant discipline. Post-graduate relevant experience. Leadership skills. Excellent customer service manner with strong interpersonal skills.
