£39,959 per annum including Shift Allowance We are looking for organised and ambitious mechanically and electrically biased Maintenance Engineers. Maintenance Engineer Key Responsibilities:
Display advanced skills in one specific area of equipment (e.g., diecasting machines, robotics, presses, furnaces, CNC machine & assembly equipment). Be proficient in at least two other areas, such as services & plant, lubrication systems, fabrication & welding, pipework installation & repairs, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, and TPM. Undertake root cause analysis and problem-solving to address maintenance issues. Effectively organise and prioritise your workload to meet demands. Ensure compliance with safety procedures, maintaining a safe working environment at all times. Conduct regular safety checks and ensure proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Operate FLT, cranes/slings, MEWP, and fortress lock-off systems when required. Adhere to quality and administrative procedures to the highest standards. Maintain excellent housekeeping and 5S standards within the working environment. Carry out additional duties as assigned by the relevant manager. Maintenance Engineer Required Experience:
At least 4 years’ experience in a maintenance role. Extensive experience with electro-mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and machine maintenance. Ability to organise and manage your workload effectively. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong knowledge of Health & Safety regulations related to machinery and their operation. Experience with management systems such as Pirana would be advantageous. Maintenance Engineer Required Qualifications:
City & Guilds (Mechanical or Electrical) or equivalent, with a recognised apprenticeship. Comprehensive understanding of Health & Safety in relation to machinery operations. Practical experience and relevant qualifications in a hands-on maintenance environment. Maintenance Engineer Benefits:
