Job Description : We’re seeking an experienced
R Studio Administrator
to join our client support team, dedicated to maintaining and optimizing a robust R Studio environment that supports hundreds of data scientists. This role is an essential support position ensuring smooth operations and resolving ticketed issues as they arise.
Key Responsibilities: Administer R Studio Environment : Manage installation, configuration, troubleshooting, patching, and upgrades of RStudio Workbench, Connect, and Package Manager. Build & Deploy R Packages : Oversee installation, upgrades, and patching processes, adhering to change management protocols. Quarterly Maintenance : Manage R bundle upgrades and quarterly rebuilds as part of the release cycle. Collaborate with IT teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
Must-Have Skills : Proficiency in
R Studio Administration
(Workbench, Connect, Shiny). Expertise in
Linux
and
Shell Scripting . Experience with
R Packages , package management tools, and EasyBuild. Strong knowledge of
Advanced Linux Concepts
and
OpenShift . Familiarity with
ITSM/ITIL processes
and
Service Delivery Management .
