Working closely with partner organisations, the ICB's staff design, plan and commission health services for more than half a million people and monitor the quality and effectiveness of those services. The ICB currently has a vacancy for a Database & Systems Analyst within the All Age Continuing Care (AACC) team. The post holder will support the AACC team across the ICB in the provision of a safe and effective service by providing an effective data system and data analysis and will assist in the day-to-day running of data systems within the department. The post-holder will assist in supporting the team in understanding the complexity of data management; training in using the system and delivery of an accurate data system. Main duties of the job

The role will work closely with the Database & Systems Senior Analyst, Database & Systems Manager, AACC Business Managers, the Quality & Governance Manager, and the Finance team. They will assist in delivering services aligned with agreed plans and budgets through proactive monitoring and analysis of contracts and performance, using standard reports and timely communication with relevant colleagues. Additionally, they will help provide and submit data returns in line with statutory requirements and ensure compliance with GDPR legislation within AACC data systems. The role covers a broad remit in supporting the information requirements for the AACC service. The post holder will use their NHS data experience and information analysis techniques to collate, interpret, and present data, adding meaning and enabling informed decision-making by ICB colleagues. Knowledge

Specialist knowledge of NHS data requirements, commissioning and brokerage processes acquired by extensive experience Excellent knowledge of Access, Excel, Word & PowerPoint, statistical concepts and SPSS and iChord, Broadcare or similar package Understanding of NHS data flows and the range, format and appropriateness of data sets available within the NHS, including knowledge of the NHS Data Manual / Dictionary, currencies of healthcare commissioning, coding and information systems within the NHS Knowledge of Data Quality and its implications, including national data quality indicators and how to measure, monitor and proactively report on data quality issues Qualifications

Relevant degree or basic professional IM&T qualification or statistics qualification or relevant experience Advanced professional IM&T qualifications / advanced statistics Evidence of continued professional development Experience
