Together with our 500 colleagues in 14 countries, we strive for a future with no waste. Are you a skilled C++ programmer with experience in communication protocols and Linux environments? Evac is seeking a motivated professional to join our Large Projects and Military team in Chesterfield on a temporary basis to work on exciting and impactful projects. Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain C++ programs for communication, with a focus on TCP/IP and Modbus protocols. Manage MySQL databases in a Linux environment, handling tasks such as user account control, data logging, and alarm control. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and functionality. Essential Skills and Experience: Proficiency in C++ programming, particularly for communication protocols like TCP/IP and Modbus. Hands-on experience with MySQL databases in a Linux environment, including user account control, data logging, and alarm management. Highly Advantageous Skills: Familiarity with GTK graphical user interface software. Experience working with the Debian 9 Linux operating system. Proficiency in using GIT open-source version control systems. Knowledge of cross-compiling techniques. Experience with Java programming language.
