Civil Engineer. Salary:
£30,000-£50,000 Location:
Oxford. Overview: First Military Recruitment are currently seeking a Civil Engineer on behalf of one of our clients. Our client encourages applications from ex-military personnel; however, all candidates will be given due consideration. Duties and Responsibilities: Build relationships with teams, colleagues, and clients. Work independently under the supervision of a Senior Civil Engineer and Associate Civil Engineer. Assist with the delivery of projects. Produce flood risk assessments (FRA s) and drainage strategies. Develop highways, earthworks, external works, and drainage designs. Produce civil engineering drawings and layouts. Work efficiently to meet project deadlines, demonstrating the ability to work under pressure. Prepare design calculations, drawings, specifications, reports, and other project documentation under the supervision of a Senior Civil Engineer and Associate Civil Engineer. Participate in the resolution of technical issues and apply problem-solving skills to projects. Skills and Qualifications: A degree in Civil Engineering (BEng/MEng). Proven experience in a similar role to have gained relevant knowledge. Experience with AutoCAD and preparing engineering drawings, particularly Civil 3D. Experience with Info Drainage desirable. An understanding/awareness of Highway and Drainage section agreements (38, 278, and 104) desirable.
