An opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated Dentist to join our Primary Care Dental Service has arisen working in our Bath site as a Band A Dental Officer. This post is 12 months fixed term, 3 days, 0.6 wte. This is a fixed term post working in a well-equipped, modern surgery in an attractive location in central Bath. Well supported by Senior Clinicians, highly experienced dental nurses, Operations manager and Clinical Director. Main duties of the job
You will be expected to provide high quality NHS emergency and routine care to a diverse range of patients of all ages from the locality including those patients with additional needs. We have six sites across Bristol, Bath and Weston and there may be some travelling to additional sites. Treatment using local anaesthetic and conscious sedation as appropriate to clinical needs and the appointed candidate’s clinical skills. Oral health assessment and treatment of child and adult patients because of their disability, medical status, or complexity of care are considered as having “Additional Needs” and are unable to obtain dental care from other NHS resources. The post holder will be required to carry out domiciliary visits as required, as well as attending in-patients in local hospitals and nursing homes. Working for our organisation
