This is a critically important role and core team member of UK, Ireland and Nordic Healthcare Systems and Technologies. Ultimately leading the tactical and operational daily activities of the Safe Patient Handling (SPH) sales team and driving the development and implementation of strategies to ensure the attainment of focused objectives and targets. This team comprises of direct sales managers and distributor managers. Lead our SPH team to achieve balanced sales growth with existing customers and generate new business. What you'll do: Develop and implement annual sales plans, goals and objectives for the sales team. Provide leadership, guidance and motivation to achieve sales targets. Hire, train, lead and retain top talent to ensure team success. Analyse sales data, market trends and customer need to identify opportunities for growth. Lead and handle the account planning process for individual Account Managers aligned to the strategic marketing plan. Foster and maintain valuable relationships with key customers and partners to ensure ongoing business and identify new opportunities. Collaborate with marketing, tech services, therapy partners, finance etc. to align sales strategies with company objectives. Conduct regular performance reviews, set KPIs and provide coaching, mentoring & feedback. Monitor sales activity and pipeline, forecast sales revenue and report regularly on sales performance to senior management. Develop and negotiate contracts/agreements with clients.
