£45,000 to £55,000 per annum Job Description: We are seeking a skilled Mobile Field Engineer (Water Treatment) to join our client's team in Sheffield. This specialized role involves supporting technical engineering installations primarily for water treatment systems, including Lamella clarification, chemical dosing, and water monitoring systems, along with general temporary heating and ventilation systems across the UK. The Mobile Field Engineer will ensure that the equipment functions optimally, manage the commissioning and testing of water treatment systems, and provide expert advice and support to clients in the field. As part of a company with over 30 years of experience in specialist hire, this role offers an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies while contributing to sustainability and environmental health. Responsibilities: Carry out on-site technical engineering installations for water treatment systems, including Lamella, chemical dosing, and water monitoring equipment. Liaise with and instruct site agents on the proper use of equipment. Support general LEV and installation teams as required. Manage the commissioning and testing of water treatment systems to ensure compliance with industry standards. Respond promptly to emergency breakdowns and provide solutions to client issues. Maintain a high level of site health and safety awareness, keeping accurate records of maintenance and service activities. Work closely with the project team to meet project milestones and timelines. Promote safe working practices and ensure adherence to health and safety regulations on job sites. Overtime and travel may be required, including occasional overnight stays. A company van is provided. Requirements: CSCS / ECS card. Electrical and/or Mechanical related NVQ Level 3 (Desirable). Experience with water treatment systems (Lamella, Chemical dosing, Water monitoring, etc.). Ability to review risk assessments. Benefits: 23 days holiday + bank holidays, increasing with service.
