Your future role This role gives you the opportunity to work with our services & rolling stock sites within the UK&I, to advise and support site teams to enable them to fulfil environmental requirements and improve environmental performance. You'll be part of Alstom where you will be responsible for ensuring that Alstom adheres to all relevant environmental regulations and sustainability initiatives. This role will involve working collaboratively with various teams to promote compliance, monitor environmental performance, and training across the organisation.

We'll look to you for: Monitor and ensure compliance with environmental regulations and standards applicable to Alstom Service operations. Experience with engaging with regulators and other stakeholders in relation to ensuring environmental compliance for our operations. Assist in preparation of necessary reports and documentation to regulatory authorities as required. Create & maintain environmental audit forms that identify compliance gaps and areas for improvement across the Train Care centre/Depots. Work with our training team to develop various environmental awareness training packs that will be cascaded across all Alstom sites. Provide training and guidance to EHS managers across all sites on environmental compliance requirements and sustainability practices (e.g. Waste Management, Water reduction, Noise and Vibration, Ecology Awareness, Pollution Prevention & spill response etc). Support the execution of sustainability initiatives aimed at reducing the organization's environmental impact. Support the site teams with change control management and implementing solutions (waste, COOSH, air quality, water pollution, energy etc).

Instead, we've listed some that we think will help you succeed and grow in this role: Bachelor's degree, Diploma in related discipline or equivalent experience. Working towards a full IEMA membership, CEnv or equivalent. Current driving licence. Experience in managing environmental compliance projects (From pilot to business-as-usual practice). Strong understanding of environmental compliance in a complex business setting.

Member of IEMA. Experience in managing EMS to ISO 14001:2015, Auditor. Experience:

Strong understanding of environmental compliance within the transportation or rail sector. Experience in creating and cascading training packs. Review environmental performance and data collection. Support site teams with change control management.
