Job Summary:
The LSI Consultant will provide guidance and expertise on working with the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Aviation at Robins AFB and increasing government market share with various clients. They will blend their knowledge and experience with the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) and the client’s resources and strategic direction to identify government requirements that match well with client capabilities and meet the objectives of the DLA. Some specific requirements include, but are not limited to:
Responsibilities:
Develop and manage relations with key stakeholders and business lines at multiple levels in the organization.
Identify and develop new product and service lines of business.
Interact with organization personnel related to client raised issues.
Identify resources required for various projects.
Collaborate with other consultants and LSI staff to ensure all client needs are being met.
Required Skills/Abilities:
Expertise and knowledge of DLA Aviation quality assurance and procurement systems and procedures.
Active Confidential/Security Clearance.
Education and Experience:
Experience working with the DLA.
Strong relationships within the DLA.
5+ years managing DLA contracts.
Strong background in Air Force Aviation and testing equipment.
Former or retired civilian or military (GS12, GM13, GS11 – target levels).
Additional Information:
This is a 1099 role.
$75-$100 an hour.
Average 20 hours per month.
Must reside within 40 miles of Robins Air Force Base.
