Provide a welcoming, caring, and safe environment for all patients. Manage the patient pathway including admissions, pre-operative preparation, post-operative care, and the discharge process. Maintain legible and accurate nursing records. Monitor and assess patients' condition, proposing and implementing changes to care plans as necessary. Hand over and transfer care responsibility to colleagues with thorough communication. Administer medicines and manage medicines accurately. Implement and uphold nursing procedures according to best practice, policy, and regulatory requirements. Person Specification: Must be registered with the NMC. Demonstrable record of Continuing Professional Development (CPD). Up-to-date knowledge of current issues in professional practice. Surgical nursing experience is desirable.
