Discipline: Electrical/Electronic, Design, Systems Engineering Working pattern: To gain maximum benefit from the scheme, you should expect to be on-site 3 to 4 days per week. Security clearance: British Citizen or a Dual UK national with British citizenship. Restrictions and/or limitations relating to nationality and/or rights to work may apply. As a minimum and after offer stage, all successful candidates will need to undergo HMG Basic Personnel Security Standard checks (BPSS), which are managed by the MBDA Personnel Security Team. Closing date for this role is midnight on Monday 4th November. The opportunity: The Electronic Engineering department is responsible for Electronic Engineering - Sub-system Hardware Level Interactions & Detailed Design. Electronic Engineering delivers interesting and complex electronic developments across a broad range of projects and is looking for Electrical/Electronic Engineers to join our growing team. Our project work encompasses the complete lifecycle of a product, therefore, you could be involved with some or all the different stages of the lifecycle; offering you a wide variety of work. As an undergraduate, you would be supporting exciting projects in aspects such as: Generating ideas and capturing requirements. Design work in terms of architecture design and detailed design. Exposure to hardware integration with other modules by collaboratively working in multidisciplinary teams. Both iterative prototype testing and final product testing. Your work placements with Electronic Engineering can range from Power Electronics, RF & Antenna Design, Analogue & Digital Electronics, PCB layout to Testing & Evaluation. With hands-on and theoretical work, your skills will be challenged and developed with support from our highly experienced and engaging teams. What we're looking for from you: Currently studying for a degree in Electrical, Electronic, Avionics, Electro-mechanical, Physics or a related Engineering discipline.
