About the Role:
This is a brand-new position created to meet the increasing demand for in-house planning expertise. The role offers the chance to work on a diverse range of projects, including: Commercial developments. Residential projects, such as extensions and apartment buildings (e.g., a recent 57-unit development). Unique builds, including religious and community buildings. With 80% of projects based in Southampton, you'll have the opportunity to make a significant impact in the local area. The firm recently achieved 2nd place for the most planning applications submitted to SOU LPA in 2024, highlighting their commitment to delivering exceptional results.
What We're Looking For:
Experience:
A background in LPA or public sector planning is preferred, ideally with knowledge of local planning regulations. Qualifications:
Chartered status is not required, but support for professional development, including paid study leave, is available for those working towards chartership.
